What we do

IPRS Health is an award-winning private independent clinical company specialising in assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, established in 1995 and part of the IPRS Group.

Today IPRS Health is regarded as one of the UK’s leading providers of quality corporate well being solutions, including physiotherapy, rehabilitation, ergonomic services, psychological services, health and well being screening.

IPRS Health delivers these innovative services to a range of corporate clients in the Public and Private Sectors working with Employers, Occupational Health providers and insurers across these sectors.

IPRS Health has an extensive in-house team of multidisciplinary clinicians which, coupled with a carefully selected and managed national clinical network, can provide corporate health and wellbeing services nationwide including specialist flexible return to work and functional recovery solutions.

IPRS Group

The IPRS Group was established in 1995 and celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2015.

The founder wanted to promote the ethos of “sports injury management” into commercial organisations by comparing staff absence in the workplace with injured football players where return to “game-ready” fitness is similar to “return to work” fitness.

This ethos and innovative approach to corporate physiotherapy led to growth within the company resulting in a 2002 move to a larger head office premises in Ipswich.

In 2004 the IPRS Group broadened its client base into the Corporate and Government sectors and has continued to develop and grow with a varied customer base comprising of largely blue chip clients, focussing on the provision of high quality clinical services to the Healthcare industry.

Today the IPRS Group is made up of 5 divisions, all working diversely within the Healthcare sector.


January 1995: Isokinetic Screening Centre Ltd. formed

May 1998: Isokinetic Screening Centre Ltd. renamed to Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Services Ltd.

September 2012: IPRS win the Rehabilitation First Awards Initiative Provider of the Year

December 2012: IPRS Ltd. expand and start a lease on Unit 6, adjacent to Suffolk House Headquarters

Martyn Jackson, Group CEO

Martyn joined IPRS Group in 2004 and is married to Angela and has a son Zach.

Martyn lives in north Kent in a converted village hall he renovated, hence the recent development of grey hair.  The work on the house was recently featured on the BBC daytime programme "how not to renovate a house!".

In his spare time Martyn is writing a thriller based on a family man who is secretly killing building contractors in Kent titled "parallel universe living in the world of construction!"

Martyn still plays football once a week for the village, normally paired with the under 30's to balance the age profile across the teams and help some of the boys with their care in the community orders.  

Loves: Family, Classic Cars and Football 

Hates: Lateness and Poor Customer Service


Diane Wythe, Group COO

Diane joined IPRS Group in January 2001 and has made many great friends over the years.

Diane is married to Graham and has a son, Andrew, who is in his late twenties. Rounding off the family is Molly her gorgeous Black Labrador.

Those who know Diane well will know she loves her holidays, whether its flying off to warmer weather or spending quality family time in a cottage in the UK.

Hobbies, not many, but reading (on holiday!) and walking with her family and friends would feature in her list.



Emily Woods, Head of Client Service Delivery

Emily joined IPRS Group in 2007 and then again in 2009, starting a new club called the 'Returners'!

Emily lives in the Suffolk countryside with her black lab called Darcy and Jack Russell/Poodle/Lhasa Apso/Daschund cross breed called Foxy and partner Pete, and yes they do come in that order.

Outside of work hobbies include walking, travelling, cuddling animals and buying anything spotty.



Linda Mason, Clinical Governance Manager

Linda joined IPRS Health in 2013 because she wanted to try something new, but still use her skills as a physiotherapist.

She’s married to Steve, and they have 3 grown up children, so she spends as much time as possible on SKI-ing (Spending Kids’ Inheritance!) holidays and running around after their Siberian Husky, Sky.


Joe Head, Head of Operations

Joe joined IPRS Health in February 2012 and has been able to learn and grow within the company.

As a proud Dad to his two children, Joe will often be found finishing up the leftover food at our Head office monthly BBQ which he claims he needs for “Energy”.

While at home he splits his time between his family and any sport that is in season to watch or play.

Mark Haddock, Group Finance Director

Mark joined IPRS Group in February 2018.

Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a top 10 firm in Ipswich spending 10 years in their audit team.

Over the last 10 years, he has been involved in various commercial roles covering construction, retail, business intelligence and academic publishing including a FTSE 100 plc company.

Ashley James, Clinical Lead of Occupational Health Physiotherapy Services

Ashley joined IPRS Health at the end of March 2016 and is enjoying his time so far with the company.

Ashley has a wife Samantha, two children, Gethin and Harriet and spends all the spare time he has with them. Rugby is a passion as well as being a (below average) drummer! He also has a mild addiction to twitter!”


Paul Scallan, Clinical Lead of Occupational Health Physiotherapy Services

Paul joined IPRS in 2014 following the big move from London to Cardiff!

Paul is a proud Dublin man who enjoys spending time with his two young kids and wife, watching football, travelling and the occasional gym training!

Paul loves nothing better than living for the moment and not taking life too seriously. He has to admit that he can be occasionally forgetful - once he drove to his local shopping centre car park, went shopping and came back to his car to realise that he left his keys in the ignition with the car still running!                           


Jodie Bates, Customer Service Delivery Manager

Jodie joined IPRS Health in September 2016, and previously worked for the IPRS Group from July 2007 to December 2013.

Jodie lives with her family & dog called Sonny. She enjoys keeping active, along with long walks with Sonny at the weekend! 


Louise Bullard, PMI Team Leader

Louise joined IPRS Health 7 years ago working in the Vitality Team, she joined as a Customer Service Advisor and is now the Team Leader.

Louise is very busy out of work with Family living in Kent and Nottingham, she is married to Mark and has 2 daughters , one is a midwife and the other is a team leader in child care. She also has a son who is 14, as well as a family dog.


Grace Boggis, Referral Management & Administration Team Leader

Grace joined IPRS Health in December 2015 within the Admin Team and stepped into the role of Referral Management Team Leader in early August 2016.

When she's not out walking her Labrador, she enjoys meals out with her partner and holidays away in the sun.

Grace spends some of her spare time fundraising for the charity ‘Hearing dogs for deaf people’ whilst undertaking sign language classes.

Sophie Hughes, HR Manager

Sophie joined IPRS Group in July 2014 with a real passion for HR that only increases by the day.

Having recently completed her CIPD Level 5 in Human Resource Management, she lives and breathes all aspects of HR.

Sophie’s other passion is her nephew who gets spoilt rotten and gets away with anything, but that’s the role of an auntie right?!

Sophie also enjoys going to the gym, although half the struggle is getting her there in the first place!


Robert Rennie, Information Security & Compliance Officer

Robert joined IPRS Group in March 2015 and he loves family time with his wife Joy and their young daughter Felicity

Robert has a great selection of ties and has been said to be a ‘natty’ dresser.  He was told he was ‘Hench’ at one of the BBQs at Suffolk House, and had to ask what that meant! 

Robert has a great sense of humour and can be somewhat sarcastic (said to be the lowest form of wit).
